Places to visit in Malaysia

Start at home. Malaysia has food towns like Ipoh and George Town, cool mornings in Cameron Highlands and islands from Langkawi to the Perhentians, with Kuching and Kota Kinabalu a flight away in Borneo. Most of the peninsula is within a day's drive of KL, so one town per long weekend works well.
