- About 4 hours' drive from KL to Penang, then about 45 minutes from George Town along the coast. Flights from KL to Penang take about an hour, and Rapid Penang bus 101 runs from George Town to Teluk Bahang.

The fishing village at the far end of Penang's north coast, past Batu Ferringhi. It's also where the island keeps most of its family attractions, from butterflies to treetop ropes, plus the entrance to Penang National Park.
