An old gold-mining town about an hour from Kuching, surrounded by limestone hills. Most people come for its two caves, Fairy Cave and Wind Cave, and stay for the flooded mine lake and the old wooden shophouses nearby.

- Bring a torch for Wind Cave and shoes with good grip for Fairy Cave's stairs.
