kundasang or cameron?
Both are cool highland towns full of vegetable farms, so Kundasang often gets compared with Cameron. The big difference is getting there: Cameron is a weekend drive from KL, while Kundasang needs a flight to Kota Kinabalu first, though it pays you back with views of Mount Kinabalu.

The verdict
Cameron is the easy weekend from KL; Kundasang needs a flight, so it makes more sense as part of a longer Sabah trip than on its own. Kundasang has the bigger views and colder nights, while Cameron has more to do and more food to choose from. Can't decide? For a weekend, go Cameron; if you're flying to KK anyway, add a night or two in Kundasang.
