gunung gading
Hunt for a blooming rafflesia, the world's biggest flower, plus jungle falls.
- Best time
- Rafflesia can bloom at any time of year, but not on a schedule. Call the park before you set off to ask if one is open.
- How long
- Half a day to a full day
- Getting there
- Fly from KL to Kuching, about 1 hour 45 minutes, then drive about 1.5–2 hours to Lundu. The park is just outside town.

A small national park near Lundu, under two hours from Kuching, best known for its rafflesia. The flowers bloom without warning and last only a few days, so seeing one is luck as much as planning. Even without one, the waterfall trail makes a good day out.
