Places to visit in Singapore

Singapore is the easiest trip out of Malaysia: one compact city of hawker centres, theme parks and shopping. Sentosa and Marina Bay cover the big sights, Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam cover the food, and Pulau Ubin is a bike ride through Singapore's last kampung. From KL it's about an hour by plane or four to five hours by road plus the border queue, and the MRT does the rest.
