Places to visit in China

China has room for every kind of trip: Beijing and Shanghai for the big-city classics, Chengdu and Chongqing for fiery hotpot, and Guilin and Zhangjiajie for karst peaks and pillar mountains. In winter, Harbin builds giant ice castles for its snow festival. It's too big to see in one go, so pick a region, fly in from KL and use the high-speed trains from there.
