非斯的中世纪老城（medina）是世界上最大的无车城区之一，挤满了工坊、小吃摊和清真寺。一开始小巷会让人晕头转向，慢慢地那些泉水、城门和市集转角就会变得眼熟起来。

- 第一个早上请一位持牌导游，有助于摸熟老城。城门口的非正式导游大多只会带你去商店。
- 染坊的露台要穿过皮革店才上得去；上去之前先讲好要不要收费。
- 食物一般都是清真的，酒只有部分酒店和餐馆才有。
