Noosa Heads is a beach town with a sheltered, north-facing main beach, a forested headland and a smart café strip on Hastings Street. Upriver in Noosaville it's quieter: picnic lawns, boats and slow lunches by the water.

Good to know
- The national park car park fills early; it's an easy walk in from Hastings Street.
- Halal meat is hard to find in Noosa. Seafood and vegetarian dishes are the easy options, and Brisbane has far more halal choice.
