Take the Kelana Jaya LRT to Bangsar, then a short Grab up to Bangsar Baru; on foot it's about 20 minutes, mostly uphill. Driving from the city centre takes about 15 minutes via Jalan Bangsar, but evening parking around Telawi is tight.

Bangsar is where a quick lunch with friends turns into a whole afternoon. Bangsar Baru's Telawi streets are packed with banana leaf restaurants, mamaks and cafés, and Lucky Garden up the hill still does a proper Indian breakfast.

Good to know

  • Bangsar LRT is at the bottom of the hill, nowhere near Bangsar Village; take a Grab for the last leg if it's hot.
  • Park once and walk. The one-way streets around Telawi make circling for a space slow.
