Fly with one stop, usually via Singapore, Dubai or Istanbul, about 15–17 hours all in. Trains from the airport reach the main station in about 10 minutes. Switzerland is 6 hours behind KL in summer and 7 in winter.

Zurich is Switzerland's biggest city, with an old town on both banks of the Limmat and a lake clean enough to swim in. It's an easy start to a Swiss trip, with trains to the mountains from the main station.
