A port city on Korea's south coast, set around a harbour and a scatter of islands. It hosted Expo 2012, and a hit song about its night sea made it a favourite with couples and groups of friends. Come for the seafood, the island views and the evenings by the water.

- Gejang is raw crab. Skip it if you're pregnant or have a sensitive stomach.
