titiwangsa lake gardens
A lake circuit, playgrounds and a wide view of KL's skyline from the north.
- Best time
- Any time of year. Early mornings and late afternoons are coolest; the lakeside has little shade at midday, and afternoon storms are common.
- How long
- Half a day
- Getting there
- Take the MRT Putrajaya line to Hospital Kuala Lumpur; Entrance B comes out by Istana Budaya, a few minutes from the lake. Titiwangsa station (LRT, MRT and monorail) is about a 10-minute walk. Driving from the city centre takes about 15 minutes via Jalan Tun Razak.

Titiwangsa is the big lake park on KL's northern side, with a loop path, playgrounds and the city skyline across the water. The National Art Gallery and Istana Budaya are right next door, so it's easy to make a morning of it.
