A 27-hectare museum complex at Bukit Losong, just outside Kuala Terengganu, with the main building raised on concrete stilts above ponds and gardens and roofed like an old Terengganu house. Inside is the state's prize, the Batu Bersurat; outside are boats, old timber palaces and gardens. Give it a proper half day.
