Tanjung Leman is where the boats leave for Pulau Sibu and Pulau Tinggi, and most people only see the jetty car park. The beach next to it is worth an afternoon of its own: a long, quiet stretch facing the islands, popular with local families and anglers.

  2. The old jettyNo longer used by the island boats, it's now a spot for fishing off the end.Map ↗
  3. An island day tripPulau Sibu is about 20 minutes out and Pulau Tinggi under an hour. Boats are arranged through the resorts; there's no public ferry.Map ↗

Good to know

  • Bring food and drinking water; there are few places to eat by the beach.
  • Keep children off the jetty when boats are coming in and out.
