Tanjung Bidara is a long, shady beach near Masjid Tanah, on the quieter northern stretch of the Melaka coast. Casuarina trees line the sand, local families picnic here at weekends, and it's one of the spots where hawksbill turtles come ashore to nest.

Good to know
- The water is calm but murky, and jellyfish turn up at times. Treat it as a picnic and sunset beach rather than a swimming one.
- If you come across nesting turtles or hatchlings, keep your distance and don't use torches or flash.
