Tampin sits where Negeri Sembilan meets Melaka, at the very southern end of the Titiwangsa range. Most people pass straight through on the way to Melaka, but hikers stop for Gunung Tampin, and the old shophouse rows suit an unhurried kopitiam breakfast.
