Seafood pork noodles, a Thursday pasar malam and kopitiam breakfasts off Old Klang Road.
- Best time
- Any time of year. Come early for breakfast, before the noodle stalls sell out, or on a Thursday evening for the pasar malam.
- How long
- Half a day
- Getting there
- From the city centre, drive about 20 minutes via Old Klang Road. Awan Besar LRT and Petaling KTM are the nearest stations, but you'll need a short Grab from either.

OUG is an old Chinese neighbourhood on a hill off Old Klang Road, and the kopitiams are the reason to come. Breakfast on Jalan Hujan Rahmat is a local institution, and on Thursday nights the pasar malam takes over the streets around Jalan Hujan Emas.

Things to do
Good to know
- Pork noodles and most kopitiam food here aren't halal.
- The streets climb away from Old Klang Road; park close to the shops rather than walking up in the heat.
