Stockholm is built across 14 islands, so ferries and bridges are part of every day. There's a cobbled old town, a museum island and, beyond the city, an archipelago of thousands more islands.

Good to know
- Buy SL tickets in the app; they cover the metro, trams, buses and the ferry to Djurgården.
- Halal is fairly easy to find, with plenty of kebab, Middle Eastern and Turkish places marked halal around the city.
