- Fly from KL to Hong Kong (about 4 hours). Sham Shui Po MTR station is on the Tsuen Wan line, about 20 minutes from Central or 10 from TST.

One of Kowloon's oldest and most crowded neighbourhoods, and a good look at everyday Hong Kong. The streets are packed with markets for electronics, fabric and beads, and the food is simple, cheap and very good.
