Singapore's big shopping strip, from ION to the Christmas light-up.
- Best time
- Any time of year, and handy on rainy days since you can hop between malls. The Christmas light-up runs from about mid-November to early January. Weekends are very crowded.
- How long
- 1 day
- Getting there
- About 4–5 hours' drive from KL to Singapore, plus border queues. Buses from KL take about 5–6 hours, and flights about an hour. Orchard, Somerset and Dhoby Ghaut MRT stations run along the strip.

Singapore's main shopping street, a 2.5 km stretch of malls, department stores and hotels. It's where you go to shop, browse and eat in air-conditioned comfort, with the Botanic Gardens just up the road for a break.
