Taman Buaya has been an Ayer Keroh family stop since 1987: about a hundred crocodiles of four species in shaded ponds, plus a reptile corner, a walk-through aviary, miniature Malaysian landmarks and a children's water playground. It's old-school and compact, a couple of hours with small kids, and sits right beside Zoo Melaka.

Good to know
- Ask at the entrance when the crocodiles are fed and plan your loop around it; it's the liveliest part of the visit.
- Pack swimwear and a change of clothes for the water playground, which shuts when it rains.
