Singapore's newer downtown, built on reclaimed land around the bay. This is the postcard skyline: Marina Bay Sands, the Supertrees at Gardens by the Bay, the Merlion and the spiky domes of the Esplanade. It's at its best in the evening, when the light shows start and the waterfront fills up.
