langkawi wildlife park
A fully roofed animal park near Kuah: walk-through aviary, flamingos and feeding sessions.
- Best time
- Any time of year; the roof keeps off the rain and the worst of the sun. Feeding sessions run through the day, so check the schedule at the gate and plan around the ones the kids want.
- How long
- 2–3 hours
- Getting there
- Langkawi is about an hour's flight from KL, or a ferry from Kuala Perlis or Kuala Kedah. The park is on Jalan Ayer Hangat, about 10 minutes' drive north of Kuah and 25 minutes from the airport.

A fully roofed animal park about 10 minutes north of Kuah, so rain doesn't end the visit. It's built for getting close: feed the deer, flamingos and koi, meet a sugar glider, and walk through an aviary of macaws, flamingos and birds of prey around a waterfall.
