A small island between Redang and the Perhentians, with a handful of resorts and not much else. You come for clear water, white sand and quiet evenings, without the crowds of its better-known neighbours.
Things to do
- SnorkellingReefs sit close to the beaches, so you can swim out straight from the sand.Map ↗

Good to know
- There's no town on the island, just resorts. Bring cash, sunscreen and any snacks you want.
- The waters are a marine park. No fishing, don't touch or stand on the coral, and use reef-safe sunscreen.
- Book a package that includes the boat transfer; the resorts arrange pickups from Merang.
