- Best time
- November to April is dry and sunny. May to October is very wet, with rough seas, and some places close.
- How long
- 3–4 days
- Getting there
- Fly from KL to Bangkok (about 2 hours), then about 5 hours by road to the ferry piers near Trat, and a car ferry of about 30–45 minutes. Or take a domestic flight from Bangkok to Trat, about an hour, and go on from there.

Thailand's third-largest island, close to the Cambodian border in Trat province. It's mostly hilly jungle, with waterfalls inland and a string of beaches along the west coast, and it feels less built-up than Samui or Phuket.
