Taiwan's oldest national park, covering the tropical southern tip of the island. It's where Taiwan goes for the beach: sandy bays, coral coast, grassy clifftops and a main street that turns into a night market every evening.

Good to know
- You'll need an international driving permit that covers motorcycles to rent a scooter legally.
- Swim only at guarded beaches. Currents can be strong elsewhere.
- Rooms book out on summer weekends and holidays, so book early.
