Hills of sky-blue nemophila in spring and fluffy red kochia bushes in autumn.
- Best time
- Late April to early May for nemophila, and early to mid-October for red kochia. Golden Week is very crowded, so go on a weekday and arrive early.

- Getting there
- Fly to Tokyo (about 7 hours from KL). Take a limited express from Tokyo or Ueno to Katsuta (about 1.5 hours), then a bus to the park (about 15–20 minutes). Direct highway buses run from Tokyo in peak seasons.

A huge public park on the Ibaraki coast, north-east of Tokyo, best known for Miharashi Hill. In late April and early May the hill turns sky blue with millions of nemophila flowers, and in autumn it's covered in round kochia bushes that turn from green to red.
