Dr Mahathir's home for 16 years: state rooms, his hats and canes, and the cars he was given.
- Best time
- Any time of year, as it's mostly indoors. It's closed on Mondays, except in the school holidays.
- How long
- 2–3 hours
- Getting there
- No station is close: Semantan on the MRT Kajang line is over a kilometre away across the highway, so take a Grab, about 10 minutes from KL Sentral. Driving, follow Jalan Damansara and turn up Jalan Terengganu on Bukit Persekutuan.

Sri Perdana was the prime minister's official residence from 1983 until 1999, when Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his family moved to Putrajaya. The National Archives has run it as a house museum since 2003, with the main rooms kept much as the family left them, and it reopened in July 2025 after a two-year upgrade. It sits on a quiet, wooded road on Federal Hill.

Good to know
- Put Galeria Sri Perdana into the map, not Seri Perdana: that's the current prime minister's residence in Putrajaya.
- The Lake Gardens and the Tunku memorial are both about 10 minutes' drive away if you want to make a day of it.
