Gadek's hot spring, in the countryside outside Alor Gajah, has fed public pools since 1987. After three years of rebuilding it reopened in January 2025 as the Gadek Hotsprings Wellness and Spa Resort, with soaking pools at different temperatures, a children's pool, steam and sauna rooms, and chalets with their own hot-spring pools.
