Getting there
About 2 hours' drive from KL via Kuala Kubu Bharu. The final road up is narrow and winding.

A quiet colonial hill station with Tudor-style bungalows, a clock tower and cool forest trails. There isn't much to do, and that's the point.

Where to stay

Book ahead for the old bungalows and inns; there aren't many places to stay on the hill.

Good to know

  • There's little nightlife and few shops. Bring snacks.
  • Mist rolls in fast, so drive slowly on the way up.

Last checked October 2026. Things change, so check opening times, fees and transport before you go.
