Endau is the last town in Johor before the Endau River and Pahang, a working fishing port with boats tied up along the bank. The real reason to stop is Penyabong, a fishing village 10 km away with a beach, simple chalets and east-coast breakfasts.

Good to know

  • Stay at Penyabong rather than in Endau town; that's where the beach and boats are.
  • Keep clear of the unloading areas at the port and the Penyabong jetty.
