bukit nanas

A canopy walk through old rainforest below KL Tower, in the middle of the city.

Best time
Any time of year, on a dry morning. The trails are slippery after rain, and the canopy walk closes in bad weather.
How long
Half a day
Getting there
Take the monorail to Bukit Nanas or the Kelana Jaya LRT to Dang Wangi; both are a short walk from the Jalan Ampang entrance. The main entrance is on Jalan Raja Chulan, and you can also walk in from the KL Tower grounds.

Bukit Nanas is a hill of old rainforest in the middle of the city, with KL Tower on top. The KL Forest Eco Park's trails and canopy walk take you from the traffic on Jalan Raja Chulan into the trees in five minutes, and you can finish with the view from the tower.

Good to know

  • Bring water and mosquito repellent; there's nothing to buy inside the forest park.
  • Wear shoes with grip. The steps and boardwalks get slick after rain.
