broga hill
Pre-dawn hike for sunrise over the lalang hills, back down for breakfast.
- Best time
- Start before dawn for the sunrise and the coolest air. Dry spells give clearer views, while the trail turns slippery after rain.
- How long
- Half a day
- Getting there
- About an hour's drive from KL via Semenyih. Park near the trailhead; there's no reliable public transport.

A grassy hill near Semenyih, on the Selangor–Negeri Sembilan border, known for its lalang-covered slopes and sunrise hikes. The trail is short but steep, and on a clear morning you look out over mist, plantations and the hills beyond.

Good to know
- Bring a headlamp, water and shoes with good grip. The trail is steep, dusty and slippery after rain.
- The hill has closed at times for fire risk or repairs, and access rules change. Check recent updates before you go.
- No smoking or fires, as the dry grass burns easily. Take your rubbish down with you.
