agadir
A long sandy Atlantic beach, a busy souk and surf villages just up the coast.
- Best time
- April–June and September–November are good for warm days without the biggest crowds. Summer can bring coastal fog, and the Atlantic is cool in winter even when the sun is out.
- How long
- 3–4 days
- Getting there
- Fly with one stop to Casablanca, usually via Istanbul, Doha or Dubai, about 17–20 hours all in, then about 1 hour on to Agadir. The airport is about 30 minutes from the beach. Morocco is 8 hours behind KL.

Agadir was rebuilt after an earthquake in 1960, so it's a modern beach city rather than a medina town. It makes a relaxed end to an inland trip, with a long sandy beach, a huge souk and surf villages up the coast.
