Places to visit in Iceland

Iceland is a road trip: start in Reykjavík for hot outdoor pools and harbour walks, then drive out to Þingvellir on the Golden Circle and along the south coast to Vík's black sand and Höfn's glacier views. Up north, Mývatn and Akureyri are lava fields, fjords and whale boats, and winter is northern lights season. From KL it's one stop, usually via London, Amsterdam or Istanbul, about 19 to 21 hours all in.
