Places to visit in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan here is Baku, with its walled old city, Caspian promenades and flame-shaped towers above the bay, and Sheki, about five hours away by road in the foothills, for a palace with stained-glass windows, old caravanserais and slow-cooked piti. From KL it's one stop to Baku, usually via Dubai, Doha or Istanbul.
