taman connaught night market
Over 2 km of Wednesday-night stalls on Jalan Cerdas, KL's biggest pasar malam.
- Best time
- Any Wednesday of the year. It's packed from around 7pm, so come a little earlier to walk the length before the crush. Heavy rain sends some stalls home early.
- How long
- An evening
- Getting there
- Take the MRT Kajang line to Taman Connaught, then walk about 15 minutes to Jalan Cerdas or take a short Grab. Driving from the city centre takes about 25 minutes via Jalan Cheras; park in the side streets and walk in.

Every Wednesday evening, more than two kilometres of Jalan Cerdas in Cheras close to traffic and fill with hundreds of stalls. It's often called the longest pasar malam in the country, and it's where a group of friends goes to graze: order a few things each, share and keep walking.

Things to do
Good to know
- It's a mixed market: pork stalls sit next to halal ones, so check the signs before you order.
- Keep your bag in front of you in the packed stretches.
Last checked October 2026. Things change, so check opening times, fees and transport before you go.
