Pewter-making at the Royal Selangor visitor centre and a lake walk in Danau Kota.
- Best time
- Any time of year. The visitor centre is all indoors, so it works in the wet; save the lake for a dry morning or late afternoon.
- How long
- Half a day
- Getting there
- Take the Kelana Jaya LRT to Wangsa Maju, then a short Grab. Driving from the city centre takes about 20 minutes via Jalan Genting Klang or the MRR2, and there's plenty of parking at the visitor centre.

Setapak's draw is the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre, where KL's pewter company, founded in 1885, shows how its tankards and teapots are cast, polished and hammered. Kids can make their own pewter dish, and Danau Kota's lake park is a few minutes away for a walk afterwards.
