MotoGP weekend at the circuit, a go-kart session and ikan bakar at Bagan Lalang after.
- Best time
- Plan around MotoGP, usually in late October or early November, and book grandstand tickets early. Outside race weekends, there are smaller race meetings and karting through the year.
- How long
- 1 day
- Getting there
- About an hour's drive from KL via the MEX or the ELITE towards KLIA. On MotoGP weekend, the roads around the circuit jam for hours, so arrive early and expect a slow exit.

Sepang International Circuit, next to KLIA, has hosted the Malaysian MotoGP every year since 1999, plus Formula 1 for many seasons. Race weekend is the big one: engine noise, packed grandstands and a lot of Malaysian flags. The rest of the year there's karting next door and the beach down the road.
