Putrajaya's main mosque, finished in 1999, stands on Dataran Putra at the edge of the lake, built of rose-tinted granite under a pink dome. Visitors are welcome outside prayer times, and the square, the lake cruise and a lakeside food court are all a few minutes' walk away.
