≈ 195 km from KL, as the crow flies

A fishing village on the coast road between Pekan and Rompin, with a beach that runs for kilometres with hardly anyone on it. There are no facilities to speak of. People come to camp, fish off the beach, or stop for grilled fish on a slow drive down the coast.

Makan

Things to do

  1. Nenasi beachKilometres of sand and a gentle slope into the sea. Walk it early or late; there's no shade.Map ↗

Good to know

  • Stay out of the water in the monsoon months, and away from river mouths, where the currents are strong.
  • Bring shade, water and food. There's nothing on the beach itself.
