legoland malaysia
Asia's landmarks in LEGO, rides for young kids, a water park and an aquarium in Iskandar Puteri.
- Best time
- Any time of year. Weekdays outside the school holidays are far less crowded. Outdoor rides stop for lightning, and the north-east monsoon, roughly November to January, brings more rainy afternoons.
- How long
- 1–2 days
- Getting there
- About 4 hours' drive from KL on the North–South Expressway, then the Second Link Expressway to Iskandar Puteri. It's about 30 minutes from JB city centre.

Legoland Malaysia, in Iskandar Puteri just west of JB, was the first Legoland in Asia. There are three parks: the theme park, with Miniland's LEGO landmarks and rides sized for children of about 2 to 12; a water park; and the SEA LIFE aquarium.

Good to know
- The water park and SEA LIFE need their own tickets or a combo, so check what yours covers before promising the kids.
- Get there for opening and do the popular rides first; the queues build by late morning.
