- Best time
- December to April is dry and sunny. Hua Hin gets less rain than much of Thailand, but September to November is the wettest stretch. Weekends are busy with Bangkok families.
- How long
- 2–3 days
- Getting there
- Fly from KL to Bangkok (about 2 hours), then about 3 hours by road or about 4 hours by train south to Hua Hin.

Thailand's oldest beach resort, a favourite of the royal family since the 1920s. It's more family than party, with a long beach, night markets, plenty of seafood and easy day trips to palaces, caves and theme parks.
