Art spaces, the story of Korea's 1980 democracy uprising and trails up Mudeungsan.
- Best time
- April–May and October–November suit the city and the lower mountain trails. July–August is hot and rainy, and winter is cold on the higher trails.
- How long
- 2 days
- Getting there
- Fly from KL to Seoul Incheon (about 6.5 hours). The KTX from Yongsan reaches Gwangju-Songjeong in about 2 hours, then the metro runs into the centre. Korea is an hour ahead of KL.
