Beachside coffee street, sunrise at Jeongdongjin and that Goblin drama jetty.
- Best time
- Summer for the beaches, though they get crowded. Spring and autumn are calmer, and crowds gather on New Year's Day for the first sunrise.
- How long
- 1–2 days
- Getting there
- Fly from KL to Incheon, about 6.5 hours. The KTX from Seoul reaches Gangneung in about 2 hours.

A coastal city on Korea's east coast, about two hours from Seoul by KTX. Koreans come for the beaches, the coffee and the sunrises, and K-drama fans come for the breakwater from Goblin at Jumunjin.
