- Getting there

A town in the Calamian Islands of northern Palawan, and the base for trips to Coron Island's lakes and lagoons. Japanese shipwrecks from the Second World War lie in the bay, making it one of Asia's best-known wreck-diving spots. The town itself is on Busuanga Island, a short boat ride from Coron Island.

Good to know
- Coron Island is the ancestral land of the Tagbanwa people, who manage the lakes. Follow their rules and pay the entry fees at each site.
- Most wreck dives need a diving certification. Dive shops in town run courses.
- Bring enough cash, as cards aren't widely accepted.
