Then Sze Khoon, the Centipede Temple, sits on the ridge of Bukit Jung off Jalan Temiang, a hill known in Chinese as Wu Gong Shan, centipede hill. The temple dates from the 1800s and has grown in stages since: the steps climb past shrines, statues and a pagoda to the old main temple built into the rock, with Seremban spread out below.

Good to know

  • Park at the free car park on the corner of Jalan Temiang and Jalan Bukit Temiang 1, at the foot of the hill.
  • It's a working temple: keep your voice down in the prayer halls and don't photograph people praying.

Last checked October 2026. Things change, so check opening times, fees and transport before you go.
