bukit jalil
A rolling park with international gardens, and the national stadium on big match nights.
- Best time
- Any time of year, on a dry morning for the park. On big match and concert nights the whole area's traffic locks up.
- How long
- Half a day
- Getting there
- Take the Sri Petaling LRT line to Bukit Jalil for the stadium, or to Awan Besar, about a kilometre from the park. Driving from the city centre takes about 25 minutes via the MEX Highway, and there's parking at the park.

Bukit Jalil is best known for the National Stadium, but its recreation park is one of KL's nicer big parks, with gentle hills, lakes and a set of international gardens. Come for a morning walk with the family, or come back for a match or a concert.

Good to know
- The park and the stadium are about two kilometres apart, so navigate to the right one.
- The park has slopes and steps; pick a short loop for anyone who needs an easier walk.
