An island province in the Central Visayas, a short ferry ride from Cebu. It packs a lot into one trip: the Chocolate Hills, tiny tarsiers, river cruises, and the white beaches and dive spots of Panglao Island.

Good to know

  • Tarsiers are shy and easily stressed. Stay quiet, don't use flash, and skip roadside spots that keep them caged.
  • A hired car and driver is the easiest way to see the countryside sights in one day.
